It's nothing much. Just an injury. Just maintain good water para for it to recover. However on the hindsight, the wound may be a sign of water quality problem. What are ur water para readings?

all ok, but when i adopted this guy a week plus ago, it was very beaten up, all fungus everywhere..the owner sold this guy cuz both his pnt were fighting.

My bad it's an older pic I should if said so.
Another thing mine is fed a vegetarian diet so it's not growing super fast like those loaded with meat proteins. I do feed snails here and there. These guys aren't supposed to be fast growers but most pack them full of meats and pellets. My turtle is very healthy vet checked once a year |
