It's nothing much. Just an injury. Just maintain good water para for it to recover. However on the hindsight, the wound may be a sign of water quality problem. What are ur water para readings?

all ok, but when i adopted this guy a week plus ago, it was very beaten up, all fungus everywhere..the owner sold this guy cuz both his pnt were fighting.

My bad it's an older pic I should if said so.

Another thing mine is fed a vegetarian diet so it's not growing super fast like those loaded with meat proteins. I do feed snails here and there.

These guys aren't supposed to be fast growers but most pack them full of meats and pellets.

My turtle is very healthy vet checked once a year

You can give salt baths to prevent infection. It works really well and helps heal.

looks like wound cause by abrasion. Aside from the salt bath as recommended by bro J@ckson, can apply yellow solution also.
