Look for Dr Frederic Chua or Erika Tan of Allpets & Aqualife at jln kayu. Call them at 6481 3700 for an appointment. They close at 7.30pm. They are not open on Sundays and public holidays.
Lung infection is a very serious condition that requires immediate veterinary attention. To be floating at the surface, it is in a very serious stage of lung infection. Initial stage will be it's back is being lifted/tilted and they have slight problem balancing while swimming. Last edited by Schmike; 30-04-2012 at 12:38 AM. |

Depends on the severity. After reading what u have said there may be a likelihood of the fungus spreading to the lungs that causes this. It needs a vet ASAP! Bring it to a vet first thing in the morning.

It depends on how much effort you are willing to put into it and how strong willed the PNT is. For such a case, chances of recovery is pretty slim. If it's not eating, you will have to force feed it. FYI, I've successfully treated both my #2 and #3 of lung infection before. But both are discovered in early stages.

Ps cost is secdonary even it cost $1000 to treat it. I will still send it to the vet even if I have to beg, borrow or STEAL it. Last edited by PNT Guy; 30-04-2012 at 01:10 AM. |
