be careful of getting it addicted to only crickets...have seen other hobbyist share painful experience of bloated aro dead with crickets...

my humble suggestion is to try market prawn cut to size and sharp parts of shell removed. or even better, pellets.

dunk into water with a splashing motion to induce its instinct to bite

If change water, gd to siphone off the bubbles and water from the surface top to get rid of anmonia..... Btw, a quality RTG and a nice catch...

oh, that sounds scary, haha. ya the dunking into water one sounds effective, will try that tmr, haha. i'm feedin small mp to the small stingray i have in the tanka s well, the aro doesnt seem interested ):
any good pellets to recommend?

Yea, of all "death by overfeeding" reports shared by fellow hobbyists, it's often SW, cricket, then disease by feeder goldfish, in that order of aggravity IMHO.

Hikari arowana/carnivore Pellets should b a reliable brand, and amazingly I e ever heard of good natural color enhancement if u can get the aro to main on Tetrabits~

And i forgot to mention, very beautiful RTG with excellent form! Do keep us updated when able, thanks for sharing : )
