Now you have found another 39W or 55W E-ballast with shield that can fit externally or slim enough to fit behind the reflector??

I have one spare Dymax T5 light set now that can do some modification work immediately....
As far as i know.. this 'cheapo' ballast will shorten the lifespan of the T5s

Yep agreed but dont worry T5 - HO tubes are now rather fairly price :P

A fishtank is just like your computer. When your tank crash(OS crash), its time to cleanup(reformat hard drive) and setup(install OS) again and add new livestock(re-install software).

Got picture of your completed Dymax T5 with new Ballast?

Now, I have one tank set running with 2 x 30W Dymax T5 and 2 x 30W Coralife T8.

I am think of decommission my T8 so I can have one 2 x 30W Dymax NO-T5 and one 2 x 39W Dymax/Aquaz HO-T5.

Hi i think you are confuse :P
Dymax and Aquaz is 2 different brands and Dymax tubes arent HO (high output) :P

will try to post a pic once i got the e-ballast, me got 1 more set to change.Going to fire 6 ho T5 for my 3ft tank. I think i am crazy.
