Default My 1st pair of gars

My 1st try in keeping gars, the smaller pc keep nipping the bigger pc. Din know gar can be aggressive. Guess the type?

Ya, it's longnose and spotted gar. I gotten the spotted from AH so ID shd be quite accurate, its written on the tank but I was told its not a wild, it will not be same as their wild counterparts.

TS, did you just buy the 'spotted' gar not long ago? Still small? Cause I was at AH 2 weeks back and he had some about 8" to 10" 'spotted' gars in 1 of his tanks. Clarified with him whether they are true spotted, Daniel told me is florida.
Just want to make sure you gotten the real deal.

...i too honestly...almost bagged 3pcs 4-6inch ones .....was at c328 juz now n baggged soonHock n PBs.... But... Never reared before... So.. Didnt wan to commit.. Haaa

Hi, it was written on the tank as spotted, I'm not too sure if Wat I gotten is the batch you saw. Anyway me a newbie on gar so it's alrite if it's a Florida
