Benefits of wavemaker
I just got my wave maker replaced. Now thinking if i should put it back into
The tank besides for preventing fights in aro comm does it have other benefits? |

I use mine to blow poo closer to the over/underflow as there is bound to have some dead spots in the tank hence the poo tend to get stuck in those spots.

I use wave maker for the same purpose and also I will put airstone in front of the current created so that the tiny air bubbles will be blown around the whole tank. Down side is that the water will not look crystal clear due to all the micro air bubbles..

not sure if making them swim against the current will make them "exercise" more or not, them turn hungry faster.. good for pumping up size.

actually, i think it serves as a means to circulate water... otherwise, inconsistent standards of water within the tank...

Thanks guys ill add back this wave maker , ill have 2 in the tank the other one is facing the tank floor for blowing poop

Last night I ON 2 wavemaker. My comm still fight like no tomorrow. As I have added 2 more pcs into my old comm of 6.
Please advise. |
