Carrick and Sholes did not have speed.
it is the speed of thought that is more important.

Ya, he has abundance of that..hopefully they get him onboard soon if the club really wants him. The player already declared n send a get me plea...Dunno what's the hold up but the more they drag, the less chances we'll have.

Having speed is good but what is speed without skills and experience? Did Ryan Giggs score more goals than Ronney?

Must have the X-factor as said by OS.
Speed is the plus point.
Anyway its a team game, so need all to gel too.

Read we are still working to sign Maguire and Longstaff.
The latter has featured in some Magpies games before injury struck.
Not seen much from him and wonder why insistent to sign him.
Time is ticking for us to bring in desired players.
Another good midfielder would be good.

Currently leading 1-0 against Spurs scored by Martial.
Spurs are pretty rough in their tackles and the target seems to be Garner cos of his speed

We lead 2-1 after a great goal by Gomez (a very neat one-two with Mata at the edge of the box)

Hanor, hanor..I never said must hv speed than is good player. Just pointing out cos Ole's emphasis on high pressing n speedy attack. Btw, Rooney's considered quite fast in his younger days

Anyway, dun think Fernandes will come cos he's not on Woody's priority list...

especially James
