i cant comment on the advise as i've never tried it. but like all advise, you have to take with a pinch of salt. and as the thread starter mentioned, it only works for the beginning stages of gill curl. i'm still believe strongly in prevention rather than cure.

yeah, get a bigger tank and aerated it
