My anubias only tank
It might take a few years to fully fill the tank. I still have a few spots at the side to fill up. the anubias also growing well on the gravel. Most of them came from only one stem believe it or not. I kept cutting and cutting after it grown a few cm longer that's why you find so many in a small size. Those bigger one was just recently bought a few months ago. The irritating thing is that the smaller fishes keep eating the newly grown shoots. |

I don't think nanas will grow if they are buried into the gravel.

beg to differ that. there are cases whereby anubias grow extremely having their rizhome buried. however, not many cases and usually success cases go about unheard unless the keeper is approached and asked.

You should reduce the lights in your tank. Looks like alot of algae are growing on the leaves. My anubia stop having algae when i cover half of my tank with a screen at the light. They are growing well without any algae

Yes those growing on the gravel have been growing well for quite some time now, its already 2 years if they weren't growing well i wouldnt put it in. I only those that i recently cut was submerge into the gravel after the roots grown long enough i would rise it.

Normally anubias would grow well in shade without algae. if you put them in spot where they take direct light, they will have alage. Its not just about 8hrs of light only

You could lower the watt of light in your aquarium in your anubias tank or use a shade like i do.
