Default just a quick question on aeration frm air stone.

hi bros...been wondering about this for quite awhile.. so since i have the time i would like some advice frm bros here. im currently having a 4x2x2.5 tank in my room.keeping 1 aro, 2 tfb ,1endy and 1 ray. filtration with OHF with an elbow. also i use 1 air stone. tht gives out bubbles. i was wondering how do we knw tht theres sufficient oxygen in the water for e fishes. cause e prob i would wanna solve is the noise factor frm e air pump. im using a jebao air pump. i was thinking of just taking e air stone away which decrease e noise level alot.

noise generated by airstone or pump ?
vibration noise ?
If its the pump, try getting a piece of sponge or thick cloth and place it under the pump.

is it the bubbling noise, or the vibrating noise, it's always good to have more aeration in the tank though. doesnt really harm.

bubbling sound cannot be avoided as what we want to achieve is the surface agitation which increases DO level. only method would be to fully cover ur tank top to contain the noise generated.
for buzzing frm air pump, maybe u wana consider getting another pump?

another method is to use the CO2 reactor as an aeration device.
makes the tank look nice without the bubbling. and the sound from the bubbling.

hi blow baby is a air pump
air disc is like an air stone, just that it is in a round circular disc shaped like 'air stone'

these two combine to give a very low level of noise..
