GF tank mates.
Hi bros,
I understand that tankmates are generally a no-no for goldfish but I saw that there was this clinic that have cories as tank mates and they are very cute and harmonious! So was thinking about have clown loachs with goldfish? Or any other suggestions? |

i guess it is all about adaptation of each species. sometimes, need to experiment.
for clown loaches, best is to keep at least 4pcs. they will feel comfortable in a group and tend to clown on their own rather than harrass others. Last edited by amigo; 03-08-2006 at 12:30 PM. |

clown loach is a big NO NO!!
kept a clown with few gold fish and my cheapo ranchu, the clown loach attacked the 2 ranchu and peeling their scales! can see blood also!! as for cories, if you have big gold fish and small cories, the gold fish might eat them accidentally.. worst case is goldfish being choked by cory pull also cannot pull out. if goldfish not dead yet then have to kill the cory to put out the cory from the goldfish mouth... I experienced this before with my koi.. |
