Arrow Which cooling fan is silent?

I have recently set up a 2ft planted and I'm using a cooling fan that has 4 small units of rotors... but I find the noise level disturbing. Can someone advise what kind of cooling fan has the least noise?

Thanks

You can try disabling 2 of the fans, because fans work on the principle of water eavaporation (water cools as it evaporates). There is a limit to how fast evaporation can occur, so having more fans doesn't mean more cooling.

You can also try DIY-ing your own using PC fans:

Hi, where to get this very quiet fan out there?
Saw in shops that Ocean Free cooling fans are quiet. Anyone use b4?

All the fan with normal rotating blades are all the same..noisy.
Only this type of special fan based on air-con blade design is silent.
The name: Mr Aqua Tornado fan

However be prepared to pay more for it.

Wow cool! I dun mind pay a bit more, my budget is not more than 100 which I initially wanted to get a chiller.
But now I know chiller cost much more to buy and maintain.

This fan should cost only around S$45.
The Wattage is only 9W.

Last time I got mine from Petmart. You can also try Clementi Florist.
I also saw it at Sam's Pet Marine Parade.
