Idea for new goldfish tank
hello bro, sis, shifu...
I hv an existing tank 4x2x2 and have 8 gf size from 4-6" inside. realise that my water is too deep and also too crowded for my gf to grow. As my kids and I prefer to have glass tank instead of tub, I am thinking to upgrade it to 5x2.5x1.5. my current tank is using few canister filter linked to each other as i used it for my previous planted tank. my question is should i continue to use my canister filter or should i change to sump tank and linked to OHF? can anyone share your setup for the filter system of glass tank? thanks in advance RG |

Sumptank will accumulate bacteria better than ohf or canister.

A fusion of both sump and OHF. Goldfishes being a high bioload producer, would require good filtration else you will face a lot of problems in future and if you were to start dosing medications into the tank, all hell will break loose.
