possible in the labs... if you do nucleus transfer of the betta cells into the guppies eggs... or the guppies cells into the betta eggs... but... almost impossible in real life... there are from different family... with different method of spawning... guppies are live bearers... bettas brood in a bubble nest... so unless u are a mad scientist in the lab dun try...

earlier threads listed out the 3 main lfs in yishun alry. i dun not think there's much updates available.

betta + guppy? i dun tink so... different species, cannot mate. haha

anyhow i agree that home breeders have better strains than the lfs. tho i've yet to meet nor get any from them
