A lot of ppl don't like the extended barrel although it help to protect your front element glass, and motor AF sound is terrible. For macro shots, normally I just adjust to 1:1 and focus manually most of the time so I don't bother about these. But the sharpness of the lens is really incredible. If you has extra money, I still encourage you to buy Nikon macro lens. James |
