How to destroy snails?

My puffer fish cleared almost everything but when I removed the puffers, the snails are back again. So I have to throw in the puffers again.

If you want the snails, I can start collecting them for you. Anyway, they multiply very fast. If you have 10 starters, you will have 100s soon.
