Think we hv to curb our expectations abit. The result is goooooood for our first match with young n new blood no matter how the team played. IMHO, it's not too bad n we can n will only get better...well done lads 👍

Our counter attacks were good and bore fruits.
Always impt to have a gd start but no one expected a 4-0 win in our 1st game against Chelsea who also played well.
The new no. 9, AM scored 1, MR with 2 and new debutees having a gd game with D.James scoring the final goal after coming in as a sub.

But we have plenty of room for improvement with Pogba, who does not played well although he delivered a perfect pass for MR to score his 2nd.
Pogba lost the balls one too many for his standard.
Shaw also did not really got a gd game too.

Great results with added surprise of 4 goals scored. New signings Wan-Bissaka and Maguire did well. James scored on his debut and his pace and dribbling will trouble other teams.

First half wasn't great but the play improved in the second half when there were players around to pass the ball to when we had possession. Improvement is still required but it is a great start to the season.

As Zouma continued to stay on the pitch, I felt more confident as he was a walking disaster for Chelsea.

On impressiveness, Based on week 1, 2 Manchester joint 1st. Man city has easier opponent but away. United opposite in both factors.

Liverpool had easiest opponent at home.

Spurs, only consolation is Kane scored.

Arsenal and Chelsea look outside top 4.

Another 37 matches to change the season, it’s going to be fun.

The engine is still not working well. McTominay needed better support from players between the midfield and forward line.

OLS has to work hard on the midfield dept as if there will not be any new recruit joining us in Jan 2020.

We have recruited Bisaka and Maguire to reinfore backline.
With current Rashford and Martial lead the front and academy Greenwood backup.
We still fall short in midfield. Though PP is still with us but good to invest replacement for Herrera and Fellani.
A good attacking midfielder to command passes and attack.
Read DDG has not sign contract extensiom.

We missed signing additional midfielders to replace Herrera and Fellanini.

Though not impossible that we will get new recruits in Jan 2020.
But really challenging as normally club will not release their top player during the next transfer window.

OLS got to work his magic in the midfielder dept.

One thing that was obvious was the improved fitness levels. This was unlike last season when United capitulated at the end due primarily to lack of fitness. I was surprised that Jose did not get the players really fit and conditioned during pre-season 2018.

“The boys have been working hard, but this is still the start. We can still get some hard work in."

Am I the only 1 worried that OGS might overwork the boys and caused them to break down again like the end of last season ? We have a paper thin squad and will not survive if a few of our 1st team players gets long term injuries.
