I think to be fair, I have seen several of our local GF club's members and president buying gf from there. There are some good bargain and I think should try to buy the gf as soon as they have arrived at the shop.

I just came back from there...their tank of $220 black ranchus all have signs of white spots and lost listless. The water in the $98 tank is murky and some of the fish look sick.

They are selling calico ranchus for $35 but I do not see any quality there.

The only thing that caught my eye were their ryukins...but at $220 a pop, I think I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

Going back to the black ranchus, if you go to my thread titled Updated Fish Pictures, my black ranchu looks like what they got in that $220 tank. I got mine for $18.80 at the LFS on the opposite side of the road.

Incidentally, I was there because I had to buy some dog stuff from Pet Mart.

I find those ryukins at the price of $55 and the $35 range to be rather high quality though.

Some of them are actually sakura and hump is nicely round and high.

Just my 2 cents. Thanks.

oh yeah! those I saw! I almost bought a black/red ryukin but too bad the fella had only one anal fin. there were 2 of them actually but the one I wanted to buy had more intense red.

the $35 ones...the hump's not so pronounced.
