baby arowana lost half in lenth one of its barbel
my new bought young super red arowana accidentally lost half length one of its barbel, would it still grow back normally?

As long as u keep ur water parameter good, it will recover in ard 2~3weeks time

have you experienced the same problem before? because expert hobbyists express their opinion that it will take years to grow back and it will be shorter and bend awkwardly on different direction compare to the other one.they advise me to get rid of him the earlier the better.please tell me that your answer is base on your true experience.

Hi Bro
The younger the fish, the better of recovery. My previous RTG also lost half of its barbel. Take about 3 months to grow back. Cant see much difference. |
