I read somewhere that MP contains carotenoids which promotes color.

What fish pellets brand you have tried? Hikari? AR-G1/G2?

Stop all feeding.

Every week throw in 2 pellets with force so that there's splash like prey struggling.

Initially will bite and spit out.
Then bite, chew and spit out.
Last stage of conversion is no spitting out and swallow all. For my aros usually take from one week to 6 months.

Only increase number of pellets when they start to really swallow.
