4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1?

Interesting to see whether it’s 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. It could be Lallana outside and then Firmino in behind Salah through the middle. Or Klopp could use Lallana as the most advanced of a midfield three with Keita and Fabinho behind him.

Where did that come?! Superb play from Adam Lallana to get past three challenges before playing in James Milner. The Reds skipper for the night crosses low to Sadio Mane who turns well before powering home.

Milner was offside too, right in front of the linesman, but nothing given. Oh well! The Reds lead!

West Ham back on level terms. Antonio runs onto a through-ball from a short free-kick and finishes well across goal. Keita caught asleep there, he didn’t spot the run.

Liverpool need to wake up here. Real lack of awareness when it comes to West Ham’s runners off the ball. Just not tracking them.

Liverpool have been awful defending free-kicks so far. Declan Rice loses his marker and heads narrowly over from the latest one. He really should hit the target at the very least.

HT: West Ham 1 #LFC 1: Reds need to wake up here. The PL leaders nowhere near the level so far. Fortunate to be level. Antonio cancelling out Mane opener. Klopp's side looking vulnerable defensively and out-muscled in midfield.

Liverpool will be happy it is level. They could easily be behind.

The good news is they can get better in the second half. They have to.

Injuries are seriously undermining our challenge.
Need to dig deep and for the squad players to step up!
