Female Betta Comm
Hello all,
I've done my fair share of reading of how a female betta community can be done. Bought 3 CT females from the same tank, and placed them in my simple tank. It has been about 6 hours and there have been no problems... Very peaceful. They seem to especially like to hide and play around the vegetation... Will keep posted on progress... Might "experiment" getting 1-2 females from another tank. Maybe some "big ear" females. Enjoy pic! |

I'm focusing more on your scraping than your fish.
Nice setup |

Update:
Went to buy another female from another tank... According to what I have read, this would result in fights (esp the new one which originally is from another tank will get beaten). BUT, SUCCESS! Everything so far so good! No bites at all. At most minimal flaring. Already going well for more than 6 hours. See pic: So now, total 4 female bettas. (1 is missing from this pic... Hiding in the plant) |
