My TIG Issue. The swim up version TIG.
Hello I recently got a tig from overseas,
Endure a 4 hrs flight, first stage past tig survive. Slowly introduce into the tank well start swimming around and start roaming around after a few minutes. The TIG keep swimming upwards, in a repeated motion up and down vertically the stout occasionally is above water level. It been four days always yet it still the same not eating. Not like the usual tig that i saw always relaxing at the bottom of the tank. May i know is it still stress? Will it survive if it keep repeating this motion? Any bro encounter this situation before? Kindly advice. |

Check your water perimeter, must have gulp air already when acclimatize.
add black water, increase aeration. |

Swimming up and down is normal for a stressed Tig. Provide some cover though.

Water parameter: Ammonia zero Nitrite zero Nitrate above 100 Ph 6.75 Water parameter seems ok cause all are doing well. Occasionally only when it swim up the stout will be above water level then back down again. To me yes alot cheaper confirm cannot find locally. But bring back risky lo. See now like that quite sian la. Feeders why ya? Now tig stress doubt it will eat ya. Quote:
@LSF it house in a 1ft by 1ft tank now i introduce into a 6ft tank my butt more itchy haha... |

As feeders swim everywhere, they also give the shy fish some confidence that the new environment is safe for it to start hunting. Provide a small driftwood for it to take cover.
