Unfortunately I do not have a tank to house one hairy puffer... but from all the youtube video. They seems to be the most aggressive, even more than congo.

Hi guys, i have a 1 and a half year old beautiful Mbu puffer that i am looking for committed people to adopt as i am moving out soon and won't be able to care for my pet.
He's growing fast around 17 inches and fat. He needs some slight special care because he has cataracts on both eyes and has only around 20% vision so I feed him with a pair of tongs. His diet is a frozen whole prawn, oyster and mussels every 1-2 days. His is very active and swims around a lot and has a very very hearty appetite. Very very easy to care for. Only 2 conditions: Adopter has to have a large enough tank. I am currently housing him in a 6 x 2.5 x 2.5 with a single frontasa friend. No comm-ing with more than 3-4 other aggressive fishes especially if you know that the fishes are territorial and will stress him out. He is a real gentle giant. Those whom think that they care care for him long term, please pm me or sms me at 9O-67-57-87. Strictly NO TRADERS or fickle minded people who wants a free fish and ends up trading or selling him. |

Mostly cant comm, I put anything in my hairy puffer tank, he just rips them up in 5 secs. Tried to put a Golden algae eater in my tank just now but it got busted, immediately. Lil beast just whack only. So, no cant comm with anything. Its nice to have a species tank also i guess. Although theres one ghost shrimp in my tank which he leaves alone mostly lol.
Sure, 2 feet is enough for them. Mine is still small so I put him in a 1.5 feet grow out tank for now. |
