This is no joke. Hope you can salvage the tank as the water volume is humongous. ..

not sure why the bracing crack.

You may have to check whether the rest of the silicon are ok or harden already.

Maybe the tank is too old.

Agree , maybe check the moving time they carry the bracing for temporary support .

All the best for your setup .

Silicon is starting to stretch. The glass is shifting and bowing due to it.

Time to order a new tank. Don't take the risk.

leveling is also important. As tank volume is huge.. slant abit add lots of pressure to the glass

HEY BROS! i am back! Been busy with school recently.
Here the updated.
[IMG][/IMG]
Back then, i bought isopropyl alcohol to ease the cleaning up of the silicon residue.
Remove the panel of the overflow as well.
Order new glass that with the right dimension. decided to get two centre bracing to reinforce it.
[IMG][/IMG]
Just when i thought every thing was done. 2 days later the silicon wont cure. That's when i check and realise the silicon expired. Was damn pissed off. decide to went back down to the hardware shop to ask. here then the aunt, deny that expired date doesnt matter. it will take long time to cure only. i got the dow coring forget what code.
Disappointed. bought new cheap one. here the big thing again. i had to scrape off and clean those un-cure silicon.
[IMG][/IMG]
After all cleaned up and applied with new silicon. there come the re-enforcement part. i had order a stainless steel bracket to silicon to the top. With super good silicon that is use to glue windscreen to the car.
[IMG][/IMG]
And now, everything is in place! but was unable to put on the hood due to the bracket. nevertheless is still good!

Well done bro. Kudos to you for the determination.

Looking good.

However, have you cycle the tank?
