Hi, very beautiful tvrs you have got there!

I am still learning and hope you don't mind me asking the following:

I read somewhere that for a good tvr, the body should be more "elongated". As I don't really know how much "elongated" it should be, taking reference from your tvrs, are they in the appropriate body length as they should be?

Hope to learn from the sifus here.

Hi bro..no sifu here...we are all students of ranchu. This piece IMHO is considered as short.....




This piece IMHO is of good length and some might say long...



Most important is balance and "Balance" is sums of the parts of the ranchu coming together to dictate how well the ranchu carries itself(deportment) and how powerful and graceful it swim. For example a very big head on a small body and a large tail is not balanced. Hope this help you understand and if not good enough.please shoot...there are enough ranchu bros here to give you a hand.

Learning ranchus don't really need ages and vast experiences. It is good to take note on the meaning of what constitute "sum of the parts" and how it helps define what is balance and a good swim.
