Ranchus and Lionheads can still get quite large. I used to raise several which are about 8". These things were huge. But they do not have the potential to grow that big in a 2' tank of course.

AC,

You can fit 9 small goldfish in a 2' tank, no problem....but these things do not stay that way, and when they reach about 4", then you have an overcrowded tank.

It might not look like the tank is crowded, but the goldfish are not getting enough oxygen in such a small tank like that, and so it will eventually lead to stunted growth.

Oh, Im just curous AC, but are you wanting to place 9 goldfish because of feng shui? 8 red goldfish and 1 black?

put the smaller breed of goldfish in lor...dun think they would grow very big....

those tummy fat till cannot swim properly one...

yo AC bro, nvr mind lah.. u ask ur dad buy 9, put into the tank and ket them grow big big, then prove to him that it's time to upgrade tanks!!! then get urself a 3ft or even 4ft!!!! then in that way, u can start to keep ur Aro liao!!!! good plan eh? bet ur dad will not see that coming!!!

Mine has 8 gold and 1 white with red cap So is this good feng shui or bad ?
