Can the eye still be saved?
I have an aro whose eye was
Injured and infected, Have been treating her for A little over half a Month, what do you guys think? Can the eye still be saved? Planning to put her back into the pond but hoping she can go back with 2 gopd eyes |

Doubt will heal as the pupil had turn white.

Thanks im not sure of the white is the pupil or just the lens. Ill try one more dose of medicine, you think she can survive in comm pond?

Bro,
As long as the pupil has not turn white, it's curable. As for pond com issue, if it manage to get food, shld not be an issue. |

Like bro Homester said, the eye pupil already changed to white color and not the normal dark color.
To me it really look badly infected, moreover this is really an old aro and for recovery, sad to say it has slim chance. |

Allowing the eye to get infected have to monitor More closely next time |

Bro, i think the eye was injured by a comm mate. Normally within 7 days isolated with good water will heal. You mentioned half a month. Could it be the comm mate attacked that eye a second time? Better to ensure no further fight till recovery.

If infection got chance can recover but this looks like injury.
not likely to heal. coincidentally one of my (favourite) xb also had this injury. Now one side blind. swimming posture is also affected. |

Thanks think its infection due to injury when i fishes it out eye was all white the clear membrane seem
To Be intact but whitish, it has cleared up but not totally im not sure but i think it has some vision on the white eye. Ill try to treat more , Not sure if inshould Maintain yellownpowder dosage or lessen? Now using 10 grams for 120 gal |
