Bro,

As long as the pupil has not turn white, it's curable.

As for pond com issue, if it manage to get food, shld not be an issue.

Like bro Homester said, the eye pupil already changed to white color and not the normal dark color.
To me it really look badly infected, moreover this is really an old aro and for recovery, sad to say it has slim chance.

Just managed to cure 3 out of 5pcs of my red brooder when we got them out from pond almost 2 months ago...with similar cloudy eye condition.

All 5 were in 1 single 522 tank under salt n ketapang leaves extract and daily water change.

Some were as bad as your this piece and managed to recover fully..only the 2 last piece of worst condition still recovering in that ICU tank whilst the rest back into pond.

Shouldn't throw him into pond till his vision are fully recovered else it may become worst or even unable to compete for food.

Wishing him speedy recovery .

Simon

Bro, i think the eye was injured by a comm mate. Normally within 7 days isolated with good water will heal. You mentioned half a month. Could it be the comm mate attacked that eye a second time? Better to ensure no further fight till recovery.
