Bro,
I suspect your aro is suffering from chip scale like my aro. But for my aro, it doesn't lose its slime. If you are using Coral Chips for a long time without changing, it is time to remove and throw it all out and replace them with Oyster Shell. I use AquMedi Furan-G in the treatment. For your case, you may need to bath your aro in Aqumedi's Befuran. Please refer to this link and I hope it helps... http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/sh...=517947&page=1 http://goldfishkeepingsingapore.blogspot.sg/ |

This is a very common problem faced by many aro hobbyists... Just ensure that your water parameter and quality is good, your aro should recover in no time. But the scales will takes quite long to recover.
Well, at least you save a life...! For me, I have never bath my aro in BeFuran as it is not as serious as in your case. I only use Furan-G in my main tank. I am not sure if it will kill your BB, but for me, I just feeding my fishes for a few days during the treatment period to reduce biowaste. In fact I am still monitoring my aro if there is any improvement in the chip scale. What I do now is WC 50% twice a week with 0.2% normal salt. |

Too much bacteria clear water but it'll also clear (chip) your fish scale de. So to say, u need to regulate bacteria gg into the main tank.
