Hi, how long does it take to grow to that size? My crab's baby seem that a long time to grow.

I think for it to carry eggs, it need to get molted. Is your tank setup good for molting?

I dont know if it's good for moulting but it does happen. I find the baby crab grows really slow too! The photo below was taken when I first found it, and it was too young to stand out of water

Its a large glass bowl... I out like 3 cm of water, and I have a small driftwood, a plastic bridge and the soil base of a long dead wabikusa acting like a mini island. Unfortunately the mother of the crab passed away maybe 3 weeks ago, the baby crab is missing, but it's normally missing... And the tomato crab I keep with then has climbed out and disappeared.
Sooo it is now a roomy bachelor pad for the sole purple vampire male crab!

So cool!
Would you post a photo of their setup?
I am pretty interested in crabs but I am unsure how to start about the setup and all too
