Your sump tank setup very power can see doing great job to filter and maintain the clear water. BTW what type of food you feeding your ranchus?
Enjoy your HK holidays and by any chance you going to Prince Edward Goldfish Street to bag some nice big ranchus home? Looking forward to see more nice ranchus from you.
Thanks for sharing and upz for you.
Thanks bro. It is a kiasu and kiasi setup.

Now I am feeding them saki hikari green, hikari Lionhead, hikari cichild excel and fish Bonn pellets and hikari frozen blood worms. I have fed them saki hikari purple, saki hikari red, changko protein pellets and peas before.

I just visited GF market today and not a lot of nice ones but mayb going there again b4 flying back.

stopped using them for my sump tank as I became lazy in flushing them. use and throw of wool much more convenient.
might go back to it but your way of rotating 2 sets
Thanks bro. I used wool in my past setup as well. To save cost I wash them to reuse but cannot do it many times and have to keep going to LFS to buy.

Bro Yeo, a wonderful Fgt set up you have there. Thumbs up man!
Doesn't seem to have current in the Fgt, can I know how does the water return to the tub? Your aeration look fine, salt in the water? Thanks

Thanks bro. There is current on the right end coz OHF outlet flows via a long pipe across and all the way down to the floor of fgt. The pipe cannot really be seen from the front.

Yes, aeration should be more than enough. No salt in water. I used to maintain 0.2% salt but after changing to these tanks, cannot tahan the efforts to maintain it. In the video, I added melafix after giving all ranchu a 2% salt dip.

Thanks bro. For glass tank, should be about 37.5 liters. For FGT, should be 50 litres.

Nice setup! So you have two pumps to pump the water into the filter chamber?
