Ranchu Spotted??

new shipment of thai ranchu arrived a few days ago at Straits...

1. black thai ranchu about 3" for $80 each. (fungus attack)
2. orange and orange/white thai ranchu about 2-3" for $100 each.
3. orange and orange/white thai ranchu about 3-4" for $120 each.
4. old stock of orange and orange/white thai ranchu about 4-5" for $180 each.

remember to BARGAIN if you wanna buy... they do not have fixed price.

Near Clementi Provost MP camp.

They sell mainly goldfishes and other tropical fishes.

i never see any ranchu at c328 and generatonx before... swee seng got only 2 6" ranchu.

i went back empty handed today... maybe most of the good black ranchu being bought by other ppl already... plus the fungus

but i nearly bought the 3" ranchu...

i always saw 1 ah pek there but not bearded... also a lady in her 30s there... don't know whether she's diana or not.

Vix, if you can find time, go visit Long Hu at Serangoon North. New shipment of Chinese Ranchu, ryukins from Hong Kong just arrived on Wednesday morning. I just bought 2 Jumbo size ranchu from there this morning (Images posted in my gallery.)
If you are buying any fishes from Long Hu, just pay extra precaution, REMEMBER to quarantine your fishes carefully.

i went to long hu on thursday afternoon... took a look at it and asked him... "are these from china?", he replied, "thailand lah"... i walked out of the shop.

Yah, probably also you were put off by the owner. From my past experiences/visits with that guy, he will tend to con visitors on the pricing and origin of his fishes.
For me, I just scan through the tanks and straight away ask him for the price of those "CHINESE RANCHU" before he can do any conning.
