If they want control trash, very easy. Limit plastic, make everyone bring stainless steel container, reusable bags and utensils. Increase enforcement on littering, if caught heavy fine. Also, revamp the civil service, those top level with ridiculous ideas need to be removed and formed teams that can implement workable ideas with visible results to the citizens.

Reduce waste and rubbish I fully support. But must show they have a fully workable plan that can be properly executed. From what I notice Singaporeans attitude is buy buy buy, throw and throw. Gov need to do proper education on being environmentally friendly. But they themselves set bad examples, e.g. construction site buried rubbish underground, not enforcing no littering 99%, the recycling bins are just for display, Singapore streets are no longer clean anymore.

By the way, who approve the share bike system without proper thinking and planning. This is a good case study for planning to fail or failing to plan.

Those who know better do not use plastic utensils.

Leaching into consumables causes a lot of biophysiological issues.
SK oso less.

Why do we have to blame scholars for all things we don’t like?
Pay as you thrash is not new.
It’s already happened in Korea more than 15 years ago, though I am not sure whether it nation wide or certain development only.
