Default Queries : AFC arowana competition 4 September 2011

We received enquiries on help for handling arowanas for this competition, hence we have negotiated a special rate to assist you with the handling of arowanas for this event.

Special Rate : SGD $100 per arowana
Services :
  1. bag arowana from owner's home to competition
  2. Benching in
  3. Benching out
  4. send arowana from competition back to owner's tank
Note : For local hobbyists only

JUDGING CRITERIA


General Appearance – 40%
5 - Size 'bigger - more points'
5 - Pectoral, Pelvic, Dorsal, Anal and Caudal Fins - large, smooth and complete
5 - Scales - Large, even and complete
5 - Scales – shine
5 - Eyes - flushed, bright, clear and not droopy
5 - Barbels - strong, even and straight
5 - Mouth - Neat and tight
5 - Body shape – proportionate

Colouration - 30%
10 – Intensity
10 – Consistency
5 - Base (clean, clear and distinctive from rims for thin frame. Uniform for thick frame)
5 - Operculum - Bright, smooth, covered neatly and no wrinkles

Special Qualities – 20%
5 - Cross over
5 - Cross belly
5 – Pearlies
5 - Coloration on Forehead

Poise – 10%
5 - Swim straight with all fins fully extended
5 - Bold, Stylish and elegant

wat will be the filtratn setup. What if the aro die due to the water?

walau Matthew u alright or not ?

even at home, transfer fish from top tank to bottom tank fish also can die ..... how to " what if " .... this kind of thing nobody wants, is a risk the participant hv to take, and is something the organisers will make every effort to minimise the risk ..... doesn't matter which organiser

ok. cos i saw the tanks at aquarama were using the new filter hydra pure for the aro tanks so juz wondering whether it will be a better alternative to bubble filter.

should be lar ...... costs abt $100 each thereabouts .... u want to sponsor ? Thanks .... that'll be $5000 please
