Default Simple feeding for rays (Sharing)

Hey bros. Before I begin, just wanna say that I'm not a ray pro but just sharing ah!

Decided to share this as many bros complain of the trouble of feeding rays etc. So this is to show you guys how I do it.

I chop up kuning and sotong and fill them up into an ice cube tray (bought from Daiso). The bigger the hole the bigger the portion you can fill lah! I feed 3 cubes for my 4 rays. Also, you may wanna add any kind of vitamin supplement in there if you want to. I don't do it though.

Frozen and newly-filled tray side by side comparison.

Final product.

In the tank.

Om nom nom nom nom

Hope you guys benefit from this!

Throw direct bro! They love it since their jaws are more for crushing, no problem for them. I'll try to get a video up if I spot them pressing the cubes against the front panel. Drying up? I think it does but I do this once in 2 weeks so not that bad I think.

I buy kuning from Geylang market enough for a month. Every 2 weeks, cut up 2kg on kuning and fill up the trays.

Oh ok. Does that affect the nutritional content of the food? I was thinking along the lines of protein denaturation.

Welcome! Try it out! I feed twice a day but not only on kuning. Morning would be the defrosted weather loaches from bro Tay and in the evening would be 3 of these kuning cubes

Protein denaturation commonly occur under heat. By freezing, at low temperature conditions, no. However, nutritional content by slicing up, will be lost. For example, fruits sliced up 10-15mins later would lose their essence of vitamins and minerals. Only the fibre remains. Perhaps in this scenario of kunning slicing, it would be similiar?
