I have a question for all.

I understand that changing water with Distilled water can help lower the GH in the water. But how much oxygen content does Distilled water hold?

This is what I observe so far from my own.

When I use Distilled Water to change my shrimp tank's water to reduce GH, the shrimps are not as lively as I change with Pre-Filtered water from tap with added water conditioner (Seachem Safe).

Anyone got anything to share regarding this?

Then meaning it's not advisable to keep using Distilled Water for water changing without fresh water?

From my understanding, oxygen won't diffuse into the water so effectively like this one leh.

Just create movement nia. Must have micro bubbles slowly interact with the water then can. That's why some monster fish keepers in japan have oxygen tank connected to a CO2 diffuser in their sump tank.
