Default My 1st MH Light

Just bought my 1st set of MH light, come with external e-ballast, 150W, 1 BLV lamp with 10KK, cost $150. Think is cheaper than diy 6 x 24W T5 right ?
Pic in my gallery.

LOL, That was what i used to sell. .
Yes, it's from vitron
The only concern that you may have is that the glass is not UV-filter. The centre part will defuse the light from your bulb.

It's from vitron. AS i mentioned earlier, the only concern is the centre part of the glass that will defuse the light. It's more for DIY and you have to mount it somewhere. no stand , unless you DIY a aluminium stand yourself.

Any glass in between the bulb and water will provide some form of UV shield. Its prefectly fine to use it in this configuration.

There's a shop named Sinter at Sim Lim Tower, they sell these things also. If u can, get those high temp./heat resistance wire for the connection from ballast to the lamp.
Yup, DIY a stainless steel or aluminium bar stand will do, looks quite presentable too.
