My condolences to you bro...
For me, when ever I buy a used heater, I will put it in a pail of water to test the accuracy of the heater before I actually use it in my tank. Have heard too many horror stories of faulty heaters. Usually working heaters may go off +- 1 to 2 degrees C. By doing this test, can adjust to your desired temperature by correcting the differences. |

my deepest condolences to you.. i tink this type difficult to prevent also.. it might be working well for 1 day and go hywire the 2nd day.. we have to either monitor closely and take a risk.. actually in sgp, if it glass tank in HDB, there is actually no need for heater.. water shld be ard 29degrees
