as what other say a good genes ray does not matter

when other say no good, maybe they refer to those P13 or P13sp, as they want thespot to grow bigger or more and whiter, so keeping it in black tank seem to slow down this process... but so far no one can confirm whether this saying is true or not.. just like some say, keep small XB in black tank will delay the crossing

Agree it abt genes but when the rays are small keeping in white tank will allow the spots to turn white faster as they are master of disguise ...

White tank make whiter n spots bigger
Black tank make body jet black

But it's depends on the geno of the rays carry as well. All pups need grooming same like arowana. The guru famous AK always says *all competition fish need grooming not just tanning, u need to look after their diet too like athletics*
