the condensation is mainly drip down from the coil into the drain pan..
Ac unit aka Fan coil suck in atmosphere air + dirt in system as a air circulation. So when the condensation appear it bascially also carry the dirt down into the drain pipe. So unless you have a filter that is having mirco the water is unlikely pure. Also another think to consider although specialist say it will unlikely but the coil is copper so there might be a accumulative of copper in long long turn that is. My own 2 cents |

My air con waste water actually drips into my FGT placed in my balcony everyday so far no problem and it has been like this for 3-4 years already. Maybe it's because i have a large enough FGT (which is 5x4x2.5ft) so that the small amount of waste water that eventually trickles in doesn't matter much even if it's toxic.
