So far, no Melaka chendol that beats Singapore Ren Ren in Siglap.
In fact, none can even beat The Coconut Club & The Naked Finn.

However, best gula Melaka in a chendol I think champion is this

Found the gula Melaka to be super awesome, very strong, multi layered and the wide base of tones in the palate tat cannot be surpassed by anyone else.
Was so impressed tat I bought the gula Melaka.

Unfortunately while paying, Nyonya Grace let me know she used a blend of four different gula melakas in her chendol recipe.
OMG, I paid for 1/4 of the taste only

No wonder the gula had such multi layered tastes.

Imagine handmade chendol worms made from pandan grown in your home pond & coconut from your compound.

And your paying customers have to wash their own bowls and spoons after finishing

Well, this lady has all of the above.

Reputed to be best chendol in Melaka.
Been off this whole year cos not enough coconuts that's of her standard.

But despite being closed whole year, there was traffic jam in her compound with a korean, a sarawak fan and many cars from Singapore/KL plus mini bus from Ipoh.

Such is her chendol street cred.
Alas I have yet to taste her chendol.
But I hope she restarts soon

But if she starts selling black ang koo kueh, I will kick myself for giving her one of my orh koo kuey.
