Hi all, just sharing a video of my longfin variant Senegalus Bichir. Please forgive the poor quality. I noticed a funny problem though. AS you know, the longfin mutation causes the barbels (or as i like to imagine, nose hair ) to be extra long... I notice my senegalus tends to bite his nose hair while eating... It looks a bit silly but at the same time, its making it difficult to eat pellets as he keeps biting his own nose hair and spitting out pellets in pain. As of now he can only eat bloodworms... Anybody experienced this issue?
