Have an open discussion with Ah Leng from Singapore Dragonfish Farm (SDF) and ask all the questions you ever wanted to about arowanas...

For those who are not familiar with Ah Leng, he served a 4-year apprenticeship with Mr Lee Ah See of Singapore Arowana Breeding Farm from 2003 - 2007, before starting his own Farm, Singapore Dragonfish Farm in 2008. He obtained his CITES accreditation in 2010 and currently has 36 ponds, 600 brooders and 400 more brooders-to-be and have a breeding output of 65% XB, 10% HB, 15% RTG, 5% Red. He is also building a new Showroom, which will be ready in April 2012.

At this event, Ah Leng will put up for sale, 5 XB - SDF Golden Head XB AAAA which he has specially selected at a very special price of $1,000 nett each (cash terms only). Only AFC members are eligible to purchase and each member is only allowed to buy one (1) piece. Should there be more than one interested buyer in any of the fishes, an auction will be conducted. SDF has kindly agreed to contribute the difference between the auctioned price and $1000 to AFC.


For those who are unable to get your hands on the coveted SDF Golden Head XB AAAA, fret not. You have the chance to win a SDF Hiback! A quiz will be held during the event and the person with the most correct answers will stand to win a SDF Hiback. This quiz will be opened to all attendees. Should there be more than one person with the highest score, then a lucky draw will be conducted to determine the winner.

Only 40 places are available and it is free for AFC Ordinary Members. Therefore, AFC members who registered and do not turn up will be "disciplined" by the AFC Committee.

For AFC members' guests, S$20 per person will be charged and members shall be responsible for the payment. Payment will be collected on the day of the event and we’d appreciate if you could bring the exact amount. No change will be given. Any excess will be considered as a contribution to AFC.

The deadline for registration is 1 February 2012, 2359 Hr AF time. It will be on a first-come-first-served basis and AFC members and their guest/s will be given priority. However, please note that guest/s must be accompanied by AFC member and cannot be registered "through" AFC member. After this date/time, registration will be open to AF members.
