I experienced this also. I think the bugs come with the pellets at the factory. They show up tunneling and living in the pellets, cant find out where they come from, none of those live around the house

last time i mix the pellets name starting H, S, C together in the end kanna that
I think one packet kanna the bug thingy then in the end full end invasion |

Actually they are the same bug that you see in your staple rice too.
They tend to develop after some time Try leaving the packet of ranchu food sealed in a plastic container ... open few months later ... you have powdered ranchu food and lotsa bugs |
