Nice tank.
If you don't want to use net for the media, can consider those baskets used for washing veg. Find a rectangular one that fits the compartment. Then tie cable tie at each end so easier to pull up and out when want to do maintenance.

congrats bro, understand the joy, just like setting up your new flat.. or maybe setting up tank more enjoyable... like what most bros mentioned is when after a year which you may found alot of derbis / waste trapped in the media than will be very very back breaking to handle the mess liao. but i seems to have come across a way shown in youtube which after a year, no waste trapped in the sump at all....

Indeed.. Was a delight watching them bring up and set up the tank..

Thanks bro. No intention to bag up my medias for the moment, I feel that more medias can be packed without bags and using bags will create some holes Inbetwren if packed too tightly..
Actually use bags better, just don't pack the bags too much, leave the bags loose, that helps to pack more medias to the compt, as you can rearrange the bags anyway you like. That's how I pack my medias now. Anyways, to be honest, you only save that little bit more space by not having bags, but inconvenience yourself more in the long term. The trick is to pack just the right amount of media per bag, so it isn't too rigid to pack. But personal preference bah, up to you.

U mean no wastes trapped within the media spaces or trapped under the compartments?
