yes! the shop said that it is AMAPA red back but when I did a research thru' the internet...... I cannot find any information about such strain........ Only "red back" that I found is Manacapuru strain
So..... I wouldn't know is AMAPA red back aka Manacapuru red back?? Any expert here......can enlighten? |

Hi bro,
thanks for your compliment. the photos showed only the male although I have another piece of female. used to be a pair but after introducing 2 surinames into the same tank. the male and the surinames are always sparring and the poor female red back is always bullied by the three fishes. my 2 red backs are not longer a pair. don't think they will spawn. anyway, i have no time to breed. |
