Turning on the lights for long hours will cause the water temperature to rise or not?

ur fish will get used to the light soon.....if turn on for long hours, it depends on the bulb . if u use normal hitachi/osram bulb will be hot. Those aquarium ones nt hot....for me i using aquazonic. On for whole day oso not hot

The temperature of my tank went up by 1 degree after 3 hours with the light turned on.

I am thinking of adding a fan now. But should the fan blow on the water, or the air between water and the lightset?

hi bro...sorry to intervene...i think don't be so complicated adding fans etc.. i don't see the need. just my opinion.
