help!! need advice

Hi, I am totally new have got zero experience in discus. I recently bought a tank and got some discus as a package. since i know nuts abt them, I had even put up the discus for auction.

AND

when I came home just now, I noticed that one of the fellas has laid eggs!! what should I do?? I have so far just separated the fish that laid egg and the plant from the rest.

I also have no experience on discus, but I remembered a friend telling me that the parents need to take care of the fries and provide them with food. Not sure whether you should separate them or not.
