Sharing male betta community tank
Three plakat bettas and no torn fins!
Thanks to bettafantastic for his pretty spawn the smaller lavender butterfly betta shows his juvenile stripes when his big brother is around Bigger male below: The black dragon and larger lavender male are seem to think they are a match for each other. The lavender is more impressive in size and finnage but the dragon's color has really come in well! First putting them into the tank in March: Smaller lavender male meeting a young ram Oh how they've grown since that day.. His true color when his brother is not around: |

Nice setup and see the tank with lots of plants for them to hide will minimize torn fins.

Another update!
Please weigh in on the color type for my copper ish latest catch! In the jar floating at the top, i use it to fatten/condition up the new hmpk I got... So he learns to eat the dry food I give (discus pellets). But I had just released him into the tank and have put my marble hmpk in there as he is due for dieting.... Blue marble ohmpk using the dwarf anubias as a resting spot. I attached it to the glad with a suction cup. The new guy! I'm not sure what is the name of his color morph.... In this lighting it looks like he has a blue based body and translucent fins. But in a different light he darkens and more copper sheen appears. In the big tank And lastly the only hmpk from the original batch of 3 (sigh why don't betta all live longer)... Presenting the shy lavender hmpk who I think lives longer coz he didn't become alpha and over eat! Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk |
