Usual suspect is the GH when there are moulting problems.

Thanks cheetf,
i've found my old API gH test kit. (spoilt already ) having that said, i did my homework. should i add Peat moss or the artificial pH buffer? apart from the main topic, to improve their moulting, should i add in oyster shells or a iodine regime? sorry for the trouble shifus. |

Adding oyster shell will raise the ph.
Before we can comment any further, like bro cheetf mentioned, we'll need more infomation of the parameters. |

I've just bought a pH and gH Test kit. apparently my gH test keeps failing. Am i doing something wrong? or is the gH test kit expired?
No matter how many drops i did with the 5ml test tube. it just remains orange/red. i googled as well as youtube how to conduct the test but without sucess. Can anyone enlighten me? pH - 6.2 I did the same for pH and thats what i got. The colour was inbetween 6.0 and 6.4. am i safe to assume that its 6.2? |
